Following the departure of former captain Imad Wasim, fast bowler Mohammad Amir has also parted ways with the Karachi Kings.
Sources reveal that Amir's move to Quetta Gladiators for the upcoming edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has been finalized.
The decision is said to be influenced by the strong bond between Mohammad Amir and Quetta Gladiators' captain Sarfaraz Ahmed.

Amir is expected to bring his skill and experience to the Quetta team in PSL 9.
After the exit of Imad Wasim, Karachi Kings have actively sought to restructure their lineup. In a bid to compensate for the loss, the team has reportedly approached Multan Sultans to negotiate a trade involving batsman Shaan Masood.
Sources claimed that there are strong indications of Shaan Masood being appointed as the captain for Karachi Kings in PSL 9. Additionally, there are talks about Tayyab Tahir being traded to Multan Sultans as part of the team's strategy to bolster their squad.
The drafting for PSL 9 is anticipated to take place on December 13 in Lahore.
