Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Ahsan Iqbal said on Friday that his party had nothing to do with the inflation in the country.
Speaking to the media in Narowal, the former planning minister alleged that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's (PTI) government was to blame for the ballooning inflation in the country. "The ministry of planning and development has nothing to do with inflation."
He was of the view that the country was moving forward gradually.
Iqbal underscored the potential of the country's youth. He vowed to provide the loans to the youth if his party was voted into power.
He asserted, "Narowal is the stronghold of the PML-N."

Iqbal said on Thursday that his party will prioritise the constitutional amendments to safeguard the local governments if voted into the power.
Speaking exclusively on Samaa TV, the former planning minister underlined the role of the local governments in a bid to strengthen the democracy in the country.

"This strategic move aims to facilitate leadership development among the youth, allowing them to ascend within the system," Iqbal said.
