Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Organiser Maryam Nawaz vehemently responded on Monday to the allegations made by former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supremo Imran Khan.
The PML-N leader's response comes on the heels of Imran Khan's first engagement with journalists since his arrest on August 5.
Khan, during this interaction, characterised the violence on May 9 as an integral component of what he referred to as Nawaz Sharif's "London Plan."
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) Maryam Nawaz, however, brushed aside Imran Khan's remarks, characterizing them as nothing more than a jest.

She pointed out the apparent contradictions in Imran Khan's narrative, highlighting that initially, Khan had absolved himself of any responsibility for the May 9 attack, attributing it to his party workers.
Earlier today, responding to a question, Imran Khan emphasised that he had not engaged in any negotiations for a deal, declaring his readiness to submit a written statement affirming that PTI would emerge victorious in the elections.
