On Monday, the value of the US Dollar against the Pakistani Rupee experienced a comeback, as its interbank exchange rate gained 18 paisas, taking the USD to PKR rate up to Rs284.05.
Later, the American currency closed interbank trading for the day with a three-paisa increase and was traded at Rs283.9.
In the open market, however, the Greenback witnessed a drop of 25 paisas and was traded at Rs284.50.

On Friday, the American currency had closed the trading session at Rs283.87 in the interbank market.

Last week, the rupee made good as it appreciated 0.38% or Rs1.10 to settle at Rs283.87 against the US dollar in the interbank market.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan Stock Exchange PSX 100-index on Monday continued its bullish trend, reaching 66,516.85 with an increase of 293.22 points or 0.44%.
The Friday close was 66,223 points, when the benchmark made history with an increase of record points.
