A man allegedly opened fire shots outside a wedding hall and gunned down four people, including his ex-wife and her father, in Lahore's Salamatpura area.
Lahore police said that the accused, identified as Salman, opened fire on his ex-wife and her family when they returned from a wedding event.
The accused is still at large and Police teams are after him.
A police spokesperson said the firing resulted in the deaths of the man's ex-wife, her father, sister and brother, whereas 55-year-old woman Taj Bibi and five-year-old Minahil sustained injuries.
SAMAA TV reported that the accused wife filed for separation two years ago and the matter was now subjudice.
A 30-year-old man, Umar Faraz, was killed in firing near Sawalakh graveyard in Kohat. The body of the deceased was shifted to the hospital for post-mortem.
Police spokesman said the search for the accused involved in the incident is ongoing.
The relatives of the decreased protested at Hangu Road against the murder and claimed that deceased had no personal grudge against anyone.
