An underage car driver collided his vehicle with a motorbike rickshaw near College Road Township in Lahore and injured four people.
Rescue 1122 said that medical aid was given to the injured persons. The local authorities said that 1122 said that the accident happened due to over-speeding. The overspeeding car that caused the accident was also overturned.
Six members of the same family were killed in a tragic car accident in the Defence Phase 7 area of Lahore late on Saturday night.
As per the police, Rafaqat Ali and his family were returning to their Shadab Colony home on Ferozepur Road in two cars after meeting his daughter’s in-laws when one of the cars rammed into the other near Defence Phase 7.
As a result, six members of Rafaqat Ali’s family, including two infants, were injured critically. All the injured were shifted to the Lahore General Hospital, however, they died during treatment.

The victims were identified as Rukhsana, 52; Anabia, 3; Huzaifa, four months; Muhammad Hasnain, 28; Sajjad, 26; Ayesha, 22.
Police have arrested the driver whose alleged negligence, over-speeding and rash driving caused the accident. He has been identified as Afnan Shafqat and a case was registered against him.
The car that caused the accident was also confiscated.
Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi has expressed condolences over the deaths and sought a report over the accident. He also ordered legal action against the negligent driver.
