The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) on Sunday delayed the central contracts for Fazalhaq Farooqi, Naveenul Haq and Mujeebur Rehman for a period of one year.
The three players will not be given the NOC for participation in the franchise cricket league for two years.
Farooqi, Naveen, and Mujeeb had wanted to opt out of the national contract.
Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter), the ACB penned, “The ACB has decided to delay the annual central contracts and opt not to grant NOCs to three national players: Mujeebur Rehman, Fazalhaq Farooqi, and Naveenul Haq.”
