An Indian woman, known as Anju in India and Fatima after converting to Islam, embarked on a heartfelt journey of love that spanned across borders. After tying the knot with Nasrullah in Pakistan, she recently returned to India, eager to reconnect with her children.
Anju, a 35-year-old from Bhilwara, Rajasthan, made headlines when she married Nasrullah in Pakistan following a blossoming relationship sparked through social media. However, her recent return to India after five months of marriage marked a poignant moment as she reunited with her 15-year-old daughter and six-year-old son.
In an interview with Indian media, Anju shared insights into her life and aspirations. Presently residing in a rented house in Delhi, she expressed her desire to seek employment and start afresh in India. Her focus, however, is on spending quality time with her children, relishing the moments of joyous reunion.
Her husband, Nasrullah, has plans to visit India soon. Anju expressed her excitement about showing Nasrullah the sights and culture of her homeland, mirroring the experiences he shared while showcasing Pakistan to her.
Regarding her previous marriage with Arvind, Anju mentioned that her primary focus at the moment is being present for her children. She acknowledged that legal proceedings might follow in due course, but currently, her documents are at her address in Bhilwara, necessitating her return there. Yet, her immediate priority remains dedicating her time and attention to her kids.
There were earlier reports circulating on social media that Anju's children were reluctant to meet her. However, upon their reunion, Anju happily shared that both her children were content and relishing their time together.
Anju's story, a tale of love transcending borders, first gained attention when she informed her husband, Arvind, of a short trip to Jaipur, eventually leaving India and marrying Nasrullah in Pakistan after embracing Islam. Her return to India now marks a new chapter as she navigates between her past and present, balancing emotions and responsibilities while cherishing the moments of family reconnection.
