Pakistan has seen several martyrs and soldiers fight for it and even sacrifice their lives in the process of defending the motherland.
The brave and gallant soldiers have sacrificed their lives for the defence of the country without caring for anything. Among these bravehearts is Naik Noor Muhammad of Frontier Corps Balochistan, belonging to Lakki Marwat.
Naik Noor Muhammad accomplished a feat during his service that became a living example of courage for the youth of Pakistan.
Noor Muhammad sacrificed one of his legs while fighting terrorists in the Awaran area of Balochistan on October 19, 2021. The spirit of this soldier serving the country is still alive.
Narrating his tale, Naik Noor Muhammad, a father of two sons and a daughter, said: “In 2021, my unit was deployed in the Awaran region of Balochistan. On October 19, we were assigned a route clearance mission in the Balkatar region of Awaran."
During the operation, a landmine planted by terrorists exploded, in which Noor Muhammad lost his right leg, he recalled, adding that he was proud that he rendered this sacrifice for God and the protection of the country.
"Everything we have can be sacrificed for Pakistan, even our children. We exist because of our homeland," Noor Muhammad said.
The soldier says he realises he was physically challenged, but he tried to do everything himself.
"The Pakistan Army and people are united. No matter how hard the terrorists try, they will not be able to succeed in their evil designs,” Noor Muhammad stresses.
