In a surprising turn of events, reports have surfaced suggesting that Meghan Markle harbors ambitions to ascend to the highest echelons of the British monarchy, aiming to become the Queen of the United Kingdom.
Royal commentator Tom Bower unveiled these purported aspirations in an exclusive interview with Closer magazine, shedding light on Markle's desire for the regal life.
According to Bower, Markle is said to be captivated by the success and popularity of her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, and yearns for the lifestyle and acclaim that the Duchess of Cambridge effortlessly embodies.
Bower stated, "Kate is glowing, successful, and popular—everything that Meghan wanted. There's only one way to achieve that, and that's the royal way."
Despite Markle's earlier assertions of seeking privacy after the widely-publicized Megxit, Bower claims that every public appearance she makes seems to further erode her perceived status.
"Instead of going back to the privacy she said she needed, whenever she steps out into the spotlight, she loses a bit more," the royal expert remarked.
Markle, married to Prince Harry, currently occupies the fifth position in the line of succession to the British throne.
The line-up includes Prince William, the heir apparent, and his three children: Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Markle's alleged desire to become the Queen raises eyebrows and prompts speculation about her future role within the royal family.
