Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan asserted on Thursday that the Supreme Court of Pakistan's (SCP) order in connection with the level playing field has yet to be implemented.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, Khan said, "Why are we being punished? We have continued to put forward the demand of conducting transparent elections in the country."
"PTI has been taken to the juncture, where it has no election symbol. The government had been changed according to the London plan," Khan said.

The PTI chief said, "There is a need to take such steps that can reap benefits for the country. The lawyer is being stopped from submitting the nomination papers. The candidates had still submitted the nomination papers despite attempts to snatch them."
"During the scrutiny, the nomination papers of 873 candidates were rejected. Returning to such tactics cannot uphold the parliament," Khan said.
– PTI chief Gohar expresses reservations over election process –
Few days back, Khan expressed reservations over the election process.
Speaking to media in Islamabad, Khan asserted: “The PTI candidates have been stopped from taking part in the election process.”
He took a jibe at the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), saying, “The primary responsibility of the electoral watchdog is to hold transparent elections. The ECP has not managed to fulfil its responsibility.”
Few days back, the PTI had voiced its intention to challenge the electoral watchdog's decision, nullifying the intra-party elections, by taking the matter to the Lahore High Court (LHC).
Barrister Gohar, the party’s recently elected chairman, led the charge, his words echoing with defiance and a touch of indignation. “We will fight for a free election,” he declared, accusing the electoral watchdog of a pre-meditated conspiracy against PTI.
Questioning the credibility of Akbar S. Babar, whose petition was central to the Commission's decision, Gohar emphasized that Babar’s standing within the party is not well established. He underscored PTI’s transparency, asserting that no other political entity has faced such stringent scrutiny.
