Apple enthusiasts are eagerly anticipating the upcoming iPhone 16 series, with hints of its possible design surfacing recently. Prototype sketches released by Mac Rumors have offered a glimpse into the potential appearance of the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max models.
These models, akin to the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max, showcase similarities in their design structure. Yet, the leaked images suggest a probable enlargement in display size for both the iPhone 16 Pro and 16 Pro Max. Notably, a new addition to the right side—a capture button below the power button—stands out in these prototype designs.
Rumors speculate a 6.27-inch display for the iPhone 16 Pro and a larger 6.85-inch display for the 16 Pro Max. Alongside potential changes in screen size, enhancements in the camera setup are also anticipated for both models.
Unique to the Pro series, the capture button aims to streamline access to the camera app, providing users with a convenient shortcut. The entire iPhone 16 series is expected to feature Apple's cutting-edge A18 processor, paired with the iOS 18 operating system. However, substantial hardware modifications might not be the highlight of this upcoming series.
Traditionally, Apple unveils its new iPhone models around September. As such, enthusiasts will likely have to wait approximately nine months to witness the official launch and details of the iPhone 16 series.
