In a strategic move ahead of the upcoming elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Saturday launched its Plan 'B', introducing a staretegy by fielding candidates under the banner of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Nazriati (PTI-N).
This development comes as the party aims to ensure representation even if its primary ticket faces challenges.
Under Plan 'B', PTI has instructed candidates to submit tickets in the name of PTI-N alongside the standard party ticket. The party has adopted the party registered in the Election Commission as its covering entity for this innovative electoral tactic.

Sources revealed that PTI has already issued party tickets to two candidates for both the National and Provincial Assembly elections, one in the name of PTI and the other under the banner of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Ideology.
The chairman of Tehreek-e-Insaf Ideology is identified as Akhtar Iqbal Dar.
If Tehreek-e-Insaf faces challenges or does not receive the bat sign, candidates affiliated with Tehreek-e-Insaf Ideology will be adopted, ensuring the party's presence on the electoral stage.
Candidates have been directed to submit the tickets of "Tehreek-e-Insaf Ideology" to the office of the Returning Officers and obtain a receipt. PTI has advised its candidates that if any hindrance is faced, such as non-submission of tickets or obstruction by the police or Returning Officers, an immediate complaint should be lodged via email to the District, Provincial, and Central Election Commission.
Furthermore, candidates have been encouraged to submit written complaints to the district and provincial election commissioners, approach the police, file petitions in the High Court, or use social media platforms to highlight any grievances. All evidence and requests are to be sent to the party as well.
