Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid (PML-Q) candidate Waheed Ahmed on Thursday decided to withdraw from NA-117 in Istehkam-e-Pakistan-Party (IPP) President Abdul Aleem Khan’s favour.
Waheed Ahmed had decided to extend support to the IPP president.
From PP-145 and PP-146, the candidates also withdrew and decided to extend support to Abdul Aleem Khan.
Hashmat Ali and Rashid Riaz had joined the election campaign of Aleem Khan and announced to open the office.

PML-N leader Saad Rafique on Wednesday announced full support for Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) President Abdul Aleem Khan.
Expressing his thoughts in Lahore, Rafique said, "We will extend support to Abdul Aleem Khan." IPP leader Shoaib Siddiqui had expressed his gratitude to Rafique for extending support to Aleem Khan."
The politics of Abdul Aleem Khan revolve around serving the masses. The masses of PP-149 have been influenced by Abdul Aleem Khan's personality since 2003."
