In the midst of an enduring rift with the royal family, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is reportedly considering penning an explosive tell-all memoir to share her side of the story.
The late Princess Diana's former butler, Paul Burrell, has hinted at the inevitability of such a memoir, speculating that Meghan is eager to offer her perspective on the tumultuous events that unfolded during her time in the royal spotlight.
Burrell, speaking on Slingo, expressed his anticipation for Meghan's memoir, citing her noticeable absence from Prince Harry's recently released memoir, "Spare." He suggested that Meghan's narrative would provide a unique insight, telling the story from a woman's perspective.
"I am waiting for Meghan to release her own memoir. It is inevitable for her to write her side of the story because of how absent she was from 'Spare,' and that is because she is penning her memoir and telling it from a woman's perspective," stated Burrell.
Despite the anticipation surrounding Meghan's potential memoir, Burrell also noted that the doors of the Palace appear firmly shut for both Meghan and Prince Harry. According to him, the royal family seems to be consolidating their position, maintaining a tight-lipped approach and handling matters internally.
"I think the royals are consolidating. They are keeping tight-lipped and they are keeping everything in-house. I think that is their tactic: they have regrouped and pulled together, and there is no space for Meghan and Harry," he added.
Since their departure from the royal family in 2020, Harry and Meghan have consistently made headlines for controversial statements against their family. From their revealing interview with Oprah Winfrey to Harry's shocking claims in his memoir "Spare," the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have strained their relationship with King Charles, Prince William, and Princess Kate.
