In the wake of tomorrow's elections, several cricket players will not be able to exercise their right to vote.
Due to the President Trophy's final match, many players will not be able to cast votes in tomorrow's general elections.
Players have reached Rawalpindi for the final match scheduled between the SNGPL and WAPDA.
Talking to the media, many players revealed that it was a compulsion to play the match rather than a choice. "What should we do? Cast our vote or play the final?"
The senior players who would be missing out on the voting include Umar Akmal, Shah Nawaz Dahani, Meer Hamza, Azhar Ali, Abid Ali and Saud Shakil, Sahibzada Farhan.
The Pakistan Cricket Board has re-scheduled the President Trophy final from Feb 9 to 13.
