Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Mian Aslam Iqbal averted arrest on Wednesday.
According to the police sources, Iqbal had averted the arrest by donning the lawyers' dress.
Punjab police had tried to arrest Iqbal. The police had chased Iqbal, but he reached KP Speaker House.

Earlier it was reported that Ahmar Rashid Bhatti, a successful PTI-backed candidate from PP-165 constituency, has been detained by the police.
Bhatti, who emerged victorious in the Punjab Assembly seat of Lahore, was apprehended in the Township area of Lahore on charges related to a significant criminal case.
According to police reports, Bhatti is a named accused in the central case of May 9 violence. The arrest was made based on video evidence implicating Bhatti in an attack on Jinnah House (Corps Commander House, Lahore).
