The dead body of Awami National Party senior leader Arbab Ghulam Muhammad Kasi Advocate has been found in Kuchlak, a suburb of Quetta.
According to SHO New Kuchlak, Abid Mengal, the body of ANP leader Arbab Ghulam Muhammad Kasi was found in the village of Sheikh Jamal Atuzai in the Kuchlak region. Following the incident, the authorities have taken custody of the body and initiated legal proceedings.
It was revealed that Arbab Ghulam Muhammad Kasi, Advocate, sustained a gunshot wound on the right side of the temple and a bullet casing was also recovered at the scene. The nature of the incident, whether it was a suicide or murder, is currently under investigation.
SHO Abid Mengal added that the exact cause of death remains unknown at this point. The body has been transferred to Quetta Civil Hospital for a post-mortem, and the cause of death will only be determined after a thorough investigation and examination.
Naik Muhammad, a leader within the Awami National Party, noted that Arbab Ghulam Muhammad Kasi held a senior role within the party. He had also occupied various high-ranking positions within the party. At the time of his passing, Arbab Ghulam Muhammad Kasi was a member of the party’s central committee and a distinguished lawyer in Balochistan.
