Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah said on Sunday that his party should consult JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman over the name of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa governor’s name.
Expressing his thoughts, the former interior minister said: “PPP co-chairperson Asif Ali Zardari is having good relations with Maulana Fazlur Rehman. I have no idea how the PPP leadership will deal with Fazlur Rehman.”
“Fazlur Rehman had not expressed his wish for the KP governor slot,” he added.
Speaking about the Sindh governor slot, Sanaullah said: “There is a possibility that somebody else could be elected as the Sindh governor in place of Kamran Tessori.”
“The Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) will be taken on board for the name of the Sindh governor,” he added.
– Shehbaz Sharif has not talked about political vendetta –
PML-N leader Atta Tarar said that newly-elected Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had not talked about the political vendetta.
Speaking exclusively to Samaa TV, Tarar said: “The newly-elected premier has emphasised the charter of reconciliation. Shehbaz Sharif has also talked about promoting national integrity.”
“The prime minister has talked about all the segments of society,” he said.
He emphasised the need to accept the win or lose in the elections. Tarar questioned: “Was there a chance for Ali Amin Gandapur to get elected as the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) chief minister if rigging was held?”
“The Pakistan Peoples Party had obtained a mandate in Sindh, while the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) was in KP,” he added.
Tarar maintained: “Provide the evidence of rigging if there is any.”
