The Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, the official moon sighting body in Pakistan, will meet on Monday, March 11th, in Peshawar to determine the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan.
Maulana Syed Abdul Khabir Azad, chairman of the committee, will preside over the meeting. They will analyse information and witness testimonies to determine if the crescent moon signifying the start of Ramadan has been sighted.
In a statement, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad emphasized the significance of arranging moon sighting activities across Pakistan during the holy month of Ramadan. He also encouraged all Pakistanis to participate in moon sighting on the designated evening.
The meeting aims to facilitate the observation and announcement of the Ramadan moon sighting, ensuring that the commencement of the blessed month is accurately determined for Muslims across the country.
