Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's sons, Hassan and Hussain Nawaz, have reached Lahore, sources have said.
Reliable sources have confirmed that both Hassan and Hussain have returned to the country. The two brothers arrived at Lahore Airport on Tuesday morning.
Upon their arrival, Nawaz Sharif warmly welcomed his sons and their families. The homecoming of Hussain Nawaz and Hassan Nawaz comes amidst ongoing legal proceedings. Both the brothers are scheduled to appear in the accountability court in Islamabad on March 14.
The return of Nawaz Sharif's sons is expected to garner significant attention, as it coincides with their scheduled court appearance. Their presence in Islamabad will likely be closely followed by media and observers, given the legal implications surrounding the ongoing accountability proceedings.

On March 7, the Accountability Court of Islamabad suspended the perpetual arrest warrants for Hassan and Hussain in three National Accountability Bureau (NAB) references. The court suspended the arrest warrants till March 14.
The defence lawyer, representing the brothers, stated that both Hassan and Hussain Nawaz intended to return to Pakistan and appear before the court on March 12. Therefore, they seek the suspension of the perpetual warrants to facilitate their court appearance.
During the hearing, lawyer Qazi Misbah appeared on behalf of the Nawaz brothers, while NAB prosecutors Sardar Muzaffar, Usman Masood, and Sohail Arif were present in the court. Judge Nasir Javed Rana presided over the proceedings.
