Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Tuesday vowed to stand by Pakistan in the fight against terrorism.
According to the Turkish Embassy, Recep Tayyip Erdogan felicitated Asif Ali Zardari on his election as the country’s president during a telephone conversation.
President Zardari had expressed his gratitude to the Turkish president and also felicitated him and the people of Turkiye on the auspicious occasion of Ramadan.
Both presidents had also discussed the matters in line with the bilateral relations between Pakistan and Turkiye.
Both President Zardari and President Erdogan had expressed their resolve to extend further cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
President Erdogan hoped that the new era of the government in Pakistan would be prosperous.
President Zardari had also expressed his wish to invite President Erdogan to Pakistan soon.
