Naqvi said these stadiums must be renovated before the Champions Trophy.
He sought a final plan for the stadium's up-gradation to improve the facilities at the VIP box in the stadiums. Naqvi directed authorities to make seats more comfortable.
Earlier, Mohsin Naqvi's appointment as Pakistani Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman has been challenged in Islamabad High Court.
Chief Justice Amir Farooq reserved the decision on hearing of the petition.
Chief Justice Amir Farooq asked the petitioner why he was saying this placement was wrong. According to the Constitution, there is a difference between the elected and the caretaker prime minister, and the power to appoint the Chairman PCB as Patron-in-Chief rests with the Prime Minister.
“Prime Minister caretaker cannot be Patron-in-Chief of Pakistan Cricket Board, lawyer petitioner. So you are saying that the caretaker prime minister did not have this authority,” Chief Justice asked.
Chief Justice Amir Farooq became angry with the petitioner for speaking while writing the order.“You are speaking while writing the order, so I am not writing it. Wait for my order,” Chief Justice Aamir Farooq remarked.
