Pakistan's National Transmission and Dispatch Company Limited (NTDC) has secured 2553 acres of land in Muzaffargarh district for the development of a 600 MW solar power project.
This initiative, facilitated by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), marks a pivotal moment for both domestic and foreign investors eagerly awaiting investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector.

The decision, backed by the Government of Pakistan, underscores a strategic shift away from costly fuel-based power generation methods.
With the impending construction of the solar project, Pakistan aims to reduce its reliance on traditional energy sources while embracing sustainable alternatives.
Moreover, NTDC is actively pursuing land acquisition for two additional solar power ventures, with plans for projects in Layyah district (1200 MW) and Jhang district (600 MW).
These projects are set to inject a combined 2400 MW of solar power into the national grid, effectively addressing the escalating energy demands of the country.
