Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) supremo Fazlur Rehman and King Salman's advisor on Thursday exchanged views on global politics and religious issues on Thursday.
Rehman held a meeting with Sheikh Salah al Rehman in Jeddah. During the meeting, matters in line with the Israeli atrocities in Gaza were also discussed. Both leaders had agreed to work together for the sake of the Muslim world's unity.
Prominent among those who attended the meeting were Secretary General Allama Rashid Soomro and Mufti Abrar, who were also present.

Earlier this month, Rehman said that he respects the politicians despite the differences.
Addressing the lawyers’ convention in Lahore, Rehman said: “There is a dire need to underscore the importance of the state. Sadly, the constitution of the country is not secure.”
He pointed out the sacrifices made by his party, saying, “We have given many great sacrifices for the sake of democracy.”
Rehman said: “The JUI-F has the narrative in terms of rigging that the rigging was held in both 2018 and 2024.”
“It is our upbringing that stops us from accepting the rigged elections,” he added
