President Asif Ali Zardari, in his message, emphasized the significance of reflecting on Pakistan's journey while celebrating its achievements and reaffirm the commitment to a prosperous and united Pakistan.
He reminded the nation of the historic passage of the Pakistan Resolution in 1940, which laid the foundation for an independent homeland. President Zardari paid tribute to the vision and determination of Pakistan's forefathers, highlighting their sacrifices in transforming the dream of a separate nation into reality.

"Today, we honour the commitment and sacrifices made by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and his companions, who worked tirelessly towards transforming Allama Dr Muhammad Iqbal’s dream into reality. The journey since our independence has been marked by significant achievements across various domains. Our armed forces, civil administration, police, and law enforcement agencies have, with unwavering commitment, ensured the safety, security, and sovereignty of our nation," he remarked.
He also reiterated Pakistan's unwavering support for Kashmiri brethren and the Palestinian cause. "The key to durable peace in South Asia is the resolution of the dispute in accordance with the United Nations Security Council Resolutions. Pakistan, on its part, stands committed to extending all kinds of moral and diplomatic support until the oppressed people get their right to self-determination.”
President Zardari concluded by urging the nation to reaffirm the commitment to democracy, justice, and equality. "I urge each one of you to participate in the nation-building process actively; embracing the values of hard work, integrity, and compassion. Together, united, we shall overcome obstacles and chart a course towards a better and brighter future for our beloved Pakistan,” he ended.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif underscored the challenges faced by Pakistan and the government's commitment to economic recovery and prosperity through policy reforms.
“I hope that these measures will bring economic stability and the current wave of high inflation will recede, bringing respite for our citizens,” the prime minister said, and urged Pakistanis to renew their resolve in making Pakistan a bastion of peace, progress, and stability, echoing the sentiments of the nation's founding fathers.

The armed forces of Pakistan, along with the chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and the services chiefs, congratulated the nation on the 84th anniversary of Pakistan Day.
According to a statement by ISPR: "This historic day reminds us of the greatest sacrifices and contributions of our forefathers, which they made in the struggle for creation of Pakistan."

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif emphasized the importance of Pakistan Day as a time to renew allegiance to the land and pay tribute to the leaders of the Pakistan Movement. She stressed the need for resolutions against terrorism, corruption, poverty, and unemployment, urging the youth to work for Pakistan's stability and development.

“March 23 is also a day to pay tribute to the freedom movement and martyrs of Pakistan. Just like the Pakistan Resolution, a development of Pakistan resolution is the urgent need of the hour today,” Maryam Nawaz said.
“Today, we all have to pass a resolution against terrorism, corruption, poverty, and unemployment. Today, the government has to pass a resolution to serve the people and make the people responsible citizens,” she stressed. “We also have to pass a resolution to keep the environment clean, make Pakistan developed and beautiful.”
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti also conveyed their messages of solidarity and determination, highlighting the sacrifices of Pakistan's ancestors and the collective responsibility to overcome challenges and steer the country towards prosperity.
“The establishment of Pakistan is the result of the long struggle, tireless work and great sacrifices of our ancestors. It is our collective responsibility to take the country out of the quagmire of problems and take it on the path of development and prosperity,” CM Gandapur said.
Bugti said Pakistan existed on the basis of the Two-Nation Theory. “All the minorities living here have full rights and religious freedom. The Pakistan Resolution guarantees the determination and protection of the rights of various nations and units. As a united nation, we will use all our capabilities to achieve the national goal,” he added.
