The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) postponed the public gathering on April 4 (Thursday) marking the death anniversary of former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
According to Bilawal House spokesperson, the public gathering will now be held in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh on April 14.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari will address the public gathering.
“The PPP workers and masses from the entire country will attend the gathering,” the spokesperson added.
– JUI-F senator Talha Mehmood joins PPP –
Separately, few days back, former federal minister and Senator Talha Mehmood joined the PPP.
Talha Mehmood also announced leaving his parent-party Jamiaat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) and joining PPP.
“I have never been a part of any party except Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam,” Talha Mehmood. "Currently, the economic and political conditions of Pakistan are in front of everyone. All institutions including the media of Pakistan are going through a crisis,” he added.
"Pakistan will have to play its role to get out of the crisis,” he emphasised.
