The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) on Sunday denounced the inquiry commission formed by the government after the Islamabad High Court's (IHC) judges' letter.
Expressing his thoughts, JI acting emir Liaquat Baloch said: "This matter requires a direct judicial decision but not an inquiry commission."
"No implementation had been done in the past on the finding reports of same types of commissions," Baloch said.

On Saturday, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) denounced the inquiry commission under the chairmanship of former chief justice of Pakistan (CJP) Tasadduq Hussain Jilani, formed after the Islamabad High Court's (IHC) judges' letter.
Expressing his thoughts, PTI leader Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said: "We denounce the formation of the inquiry commission under the chairmanship of Tasadduq Hussain Jilani."
Khan urged the need to form the commission on a pattern similar to that of the "Memogate" scandal and the election inquiry commission under the chairmanship of serving judges.

PTI leader Sher Afzal Marwat on Saturday deemed former chief justice of Pakistan (CJP) Tasadduq Hussain Jilani a "misfit" person to lead the inquiry commission formed after Islamabad High Court's (IHC) judges' letter.
Expounding his thoughts, Marwat said: "The PTI will look to challenge the formation of the commission after consultations."
