A flower-laying ceremony was held at Noor Khan Air Base for the five Chinese citizens who died in the Shangla district terrorist attack.
Flower wreaths were presented on behalf of the President of Pakistan, the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), and the Chief of Air Staff at the base.
A 30-second silence was observed in honor of the deceased engineers.
The government of Pakistan has strongly condemned this heinous act of terrorism and will take all necessary steps to bring the terrorists and their facilitators to justice.

Five Chinese engineers and a Pakistani driver were killed when the vehicle they were travelling in was attacked in the Bisham tehsil of Shangla district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday.
Malakand Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of police Muhammad Ali claimed that five foreign engineers and their driver were feared to be the victims after their car was attacked.
He further said that many people were feared injured in the attack also. "The attack appears to be a suicide, but an investigation is underway," the police officer said, adding that the passenger vehicle was going from Islamabad to Kohistan.
The officer claimed that attackers rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the passenger car, which eventually fell into a ditch.
The dead bodies of the Chinese engineers killed in the Shangla suicide attack were brought to Wuhan city in China.
Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain arrived in China with the bodies in a special plane of the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
Salik Hussain handed over the bodies of the engineers to the Chinese authorities.
He expressed deep sorrow and regret over the death of Chinese engineers. “The elements involved in terrorism will be brought to justice,” Salik Hussain said.
His plane landed at the airport of Wuhan city of Hubei province, China.. China Energy Engineering Corporation (CEEC) Chairman Song Heilong and Director General Hubei Foreign Affairs Officer were present at the airport.
