The Meteorological Department in Karachi has issued a forecast regarding the sighting of the Shawwal moon, indicating that there are chances of its sighting on April 9th.
According to the department, the new moon will born on April 8th at 11:21 PM. Weather conditions are expected to be clear in most parts of the country, making moon sighting favorable. However, there might be some cloud cover in the northern regions.
Meteorological experts anticipate clear skies in most parts of the country on April 9th, although some northern regions may experience cloudy weather.
On April 9th, the moon's age is estimated to be between 19 to 20 hours, with a visibility duration of over 50 minutes after sunset.
Previously, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, the chairman of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, also hinted at the possibility of Ramadan's moon sighting on the 29th, based on scientific calculations.
Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad suggested that Eidul Fitr could potentially be celebrated in Pakistan on Wednesday, April 10th.
With these insights, anticipation builds among the masses for the auspicious occasion of Eidul Fitr, awaiting the official confirmation of the Shawwal moon sighting.
