Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis Chaudhry Salik Hussain on Wednesday stressed the need for expanding bilateral trade between Pakistan and Iran.
Iranian Ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam called on Hussain in Islamabad. On this occasion, Hussain said: "Both countries should expand their ties in the field of IT."
"Being neighbouring countries, the ties between Pakistan and Iran are of great importance," Hussain said.
Meanwhile, Moghadam said: "The Iranian president will visit Pakistan soon on the invitation of the premier. During his visit to Pakistan, the Iranian president will look to expand bilateral and economic cooperation with Pakistan."
The Iranian envoy felicitated Hussain on becoming the federal minister.

Last month, Hussain said that the opposition thinks about the country’s sake.
Speaking exclusively to Samaa TV in Islamabad, Hussain underscored the importance of the overseas Pakistanis, saying, “We will address the problems of the overseas Pakistanis.".
He urged people to travel abroad legally.
