Sepoy Muhammad Ali, a soldier from Multan, Pakistan, bravely recounts his sacrifice at the border, where he lost his foot while protecting his country.
During the heightened tensions between India and Pakistan in 2002, Ali found himself stationed at the Kasur fence, entrusted with the task of safeguarding the border and ensuring the safety of the local population.
On one fateful day, while villagers were busy harvesting wheat perilously close to the border, Ali made a split-second decision to intervene and protect his fellow countrymen. Stepping down from his post, he inadvertently triggered a mine, resulting in the loss of his foot.
Despite the pain, Ali immediately warned the villagers to retreat, ultimately saving lives. He received treatment at CMH Lahore, with the full support of the Pakistan Army.
Ali remains resolute, ready to sacrifice more for his country, emphasizing that his disability doesn't diminish his dedication or capability.
Sepoy Muhammad Ali's bravery stands as a testament to the sacrifices made by Pakistan's soldiers in defending their nation.
