Former New Zealand all-rounder Chris Harris is geared up to grace the commentary box during the upcoming T20I series between Pakistan and the Black Caps.
According to details, the star-studded commentary panel has been announced for the five-match T20I series. Apart from Harris, former Australia captain Lisa Sthalekar will also be part of the commentary box.
Former Pakistan legendary pacer Waqar Younis, Bazid Khan and Urooj Mumtaz were also part of the commentary panel.
Pakistan and New Zealand will lock horns in the first of the five T20Is on April 18.
– Azhar Mahmood rallies behind Babar Azam-inspired team –
Separately, Pakistan head coach Azhar Mahmood on Tuesday rallied behind the Babar Azam-inspired team ahead of the forthcoming home series against New Zealand.
Speaking to media, Mahmood said: "I am quite satisfied with my squad. We are having excellent batters, fast bowlers, and two all-rounders."
He talked about the return of pacer Mohammad Amir and all-rounder Imad Wasim to the Pakistan national team. "The team will be further strengthened with the comebacks of Mohammad Amir and Imad Wasim."
Expressing his thoughts in connection with the New Zealand squad, he said, "The current players of New Zealand are having a good record. No team can be perceived as frail in T20 format."
He made it clear that there is a possibility that Babar Azam can be given rest. "We will experiment in a bid to get the best combination. "
Mahmood lavished his praise on all-rounder Aamer Jamal, saying, "Aamer Jamal is my favourite player. He [Aamer Jamal] will emerge as one of the biggest all-rounders in the future.
Responding to the query about the openers for the upcoming series, Mahmood said: "It would be better to keep the suspense going about the openers. It will be clear on April 18 who will open."
He recalled Kakul fitness camp, saying, "Everybody is satisfied from Kakul fitness camp."
Mahmood acknowledged the talent in the team, saying, "We have plenty of talent in the team. The only thing we need to do is make them players now."
Speaking about the fitness of Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mahmood said, "Shaheen Shah Afridi is a super fit."
