PTI-led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to impose a fixed tax on beauty parlors and wedding halls.
As per the decision, the beauty parlors and wedding halls will be divided into different categories based on business volume.
Director General of the KP Revenue Authority (KPRA) Mazamil Aslam, wedding halls and beauty parlors will be divided into different categories based on business volume and from the new financial year, only fixed sales tax on services will be levied.
He announced Beauty parlors and marriage halls will be charged fixed tax instead of a percentage, said KAPRA DG said.
"Owners will be given the option of choosing between fixed and percentage rates of sales tax on services," the spokesman said.
