Pakistan pacer Mohammad Amir, who made his comeback to international cricket in the ongoing T20I home series against New Zealand, has grabbed 59 wickets in 51 T20Is so far.
Amir, who was featuring in Thursday’s game after nearly four years of hiatus from international cricket, could not bowl against the Black Caps due to the rain.
The 32-year-old bowler has an average of 21.40 and has bagged one four-for.
Amir has picked up seven wickets against New Zealand in 12 matches with an average of 43.14.
The first of the five-match T20I series between Pakistan and New Zealand was canceled due to rain in Rawalpindi.
Both teams will lock horns against each other in the second T20I on Saturday.

Few days back, Amir expressed his gratitude to the Higher Power as he is gearing up to make a comeback to the international cricket circuit nearly four years later.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Amir shared a photo in which he is seen wearing a Pakistan jersey once again. "Shuru Allah Ka name le kar. Alhumdulilah, almost after four years," he said.
It was against England that Amir played his last T20I on August 30, 2020.
Pakistan will take on New Zealand in the first of five T20Is on April 18 at the Pindi Cricket Stadium in Rawalpindi.
