New Zealand batting coach Luke Ronchi said on Friday it was actually a nice transition from player to coach.
In a video statement shared by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on YouTube, Ronchi said: "I think I was quite a nervous sort of player and put a lot of pressure on myself.”
“But now as a coach, my job is to help players in a bid to reach their goals and aspirations, and hopefully, with my experiences and different parts of the world, you can sort of point them in the right direction,” he added.
The ex-Islamabad United player said: “It is the cultural thing, which I think is a big thing because you get to know different people and understand how they work as well.”
