Former prime minister Nawaz Sharif is set to depart for China tonight on a four-day visit.
During his visit, Nawaz Sharif is scheduled to participate in a series of private and political meetings, as confirmed by sources close to the leader. He will be accompanied on the visit by some close friends.
Additionally, he is expected to hold discussions with prominent leaders of the Communist Party of China, underscoring the importance of bilateral relations between the two nations.

Earlier, Samaa Tv, quoting sources, reported that Nawaz had started consulting with his party for the visit. Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar is also likely to travel along with the former premier.
This will be Nawaz Sharif's first international trip since returning to Pakistan from a self-imposed exile and contesting the general elections.
