Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar vowed on Friday to take the parliament on board in line with the Iran-Israel situation.
Speaking exclusively to Samaa TV, Dar said: "The Senate session will be held on Monday. We will take the parliament and opposition on board."
He said: "There is nothing to hide about Iran. There are no tensions with Iran. If there were any tensions with Iran, then how could the Iranian president visit Pakistan?"
– Ishaq Dar advocates for nuclear and hydro energy at Brussels Summit –
Few days back, Dar emphasised that nuclear and hydro energy are widely regarded as secure energy sources worldwide.
Speaking at a press conference in London, he disclosed his participation in the nuclear energy meeting held in Brussels, where he raised pertinent issues regarding nuclear energy.
Dar noted the significant support his position received from numerous global leaders during the meeting.
He said Pakistan had vision for nuclear energy since 1960s and despite the scrutiny of the world it continued to harness the benefits of nuclear energy. “Now the world is saying that nuclear and hydro energy are the safest and best for taking on the challenge of climate change.”
Dar said the previous governments of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) completed various nuclear projects and 3800 megawatts of electricity were added to the national grid.
While representing Pakistan at the recent nuclear energy summit in Brussels, the FM said he called for aggressive financing from the international financial institutions and multilateral institutions.
