The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) was considering holding the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) from April 7 to May 20 next year due to the Champions Trophy, slated to happen in February.
According to the details, the meeting was held between the PCB and franchise owners to review the 10th edition of the marquee tournament.
The PCB had given proposals to develop more interest in the country's premium tournament. The PCB had proposed to hold matches of the PSL in Karachi, Multan, and Rawalpindi.
Apart from that, the PCB will also explore the additional venues for the tournament.
The cricket board had also proposed to hold the four playoffs in neutral venues.
It was also emphasised to bring about changes in the playing conditions of the tournament to engage as many fans as possible in the tournament.
"This time around, the PSL coverage has received a boost in terms of media rights and live streaming. The PSL has been presented as the most successful brand in the world," the PCB said.
