Pakistan is set to receive a significant influx of foreign investment, with the potential for more than $25 billion to flow into the country from key partners, including the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, and China.
This substantial investment is expected to bolster various sectors of Pakistan's economy, including energy, ports, food security, agriculture, minerals, and more.
The UAE has pledged to invest up to $10 billion across diverse sectors, signalling a strong commitment to strengthening economic ties with Pakistan. Sectors set to benefit from UAE investment include energy, ports, food security, agriculture, and minerals, among others.

Saudi Arabia, another crucial ally, plans to contribute $5 billion to various sectors, with a particular focus on agriculture, mining, information technology (IT), and aviation. This investment is expected to drive growth and innovation in key industries, further cementing the longstanding partnership between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
China, known for its strategic investments in Pakistan's infrastructure development, is also set to make substantial contributions. Heavy Chinese investment is anticipated in projects such as ML-1 and the Diamer Bhasha Dam, with the potential for $10 billion to be allocated to these mega projects alone. These investments are expected to enhance Pakistan's energy production capabilities and address critical infrastructure needs.

On Thursday, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) committed to investing an additional $10 billion in the country. The announcement was made following a high-level meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on Thursday in Abu Dhabi.
The prime minister's entourage comprised Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan, Minister for Defence Khawaja Asif and Special Assistant to Prime Minister Syed Tariq Fatemi.
