Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed immense pride in the nation’s scientific community following the successful launch of Pakistan’s second communication satellite.
"The entire nation, including myself, is proud of the outstanding achievements of our scientists," PM remarked.
He emphasized the historical importance of sending a Pakistani satellite into Earth’s orbit, noting it as a significant achievement. "A huge milestone has been crossed by sending the Pakistani satellite into the earth's orbit," he stated.
Strength of Pakistan-China partnership
The PM also underlined the strength of the Pakistan-China partnership, as the satellite was launched from China. "Sending a satellite into space from the center of China is a manifestation of Pakistan-China partnership," he commented.

This technological advancement is expected to bring substantial benefits to the people of Pakistan.
"With such measures, people will be able to benefit from the fruits of technology," he assured, emphasizing the transformative impact the satellite will have on the nation's communication infrastructure.
The satellite is poised to revolutionize Pakistan’s communication systems. "The satellite will breathe a new life in the communication system of Pakistan," the Prime Minister noted, promising that it will facilitate the fastest internet services in the country. "This will provide the fastest internet facility in the country," he added.
The improved satellite communication system is set to enhance various sectors. "By improving the satellite communication system, it will play a key role in improving e-commerce, economic activities, and e-governance," the PM stated.
He extended heartfelt congratulations to SPARCO and other related institutions for their commendable efforts.
"The sending of the Pakistani satellite to a distance of 36,000 kilometers in the earth's orbit is a great achievement of SPARCO and related institutions for which the whole nation applauds them," he declared.
Shehbaz Sharif also celebrated the successful deployment of PakSat MM1. "The successful arrival of satellite PakSat MM1 in the earth's orbit is a sign of Pakistan's bright future," he said.
Prime Minister offered prayers for continued success. "We pray to Allah Almighty that the launch of satellite PakSat MM1 will prove to be a forerunner of the improvement of the communication system in the country and great achievements in the space sector," he expressed.
