Former cricketer Shahid Afridi recently shared his thoughts on the upcoming T20 World Cup, which will be hosted by the United States and West Indies.
Expressing his thoughts on Samaa TV's "Zor Ka Jor" programme, Afridi expressed optimism, saying, "Hope is what drives the world. The World Cup being held in the West Indies and America will suit our players due to the conditions there."
Afridi emphasised the skills possessed by the Pakistani players, stating that these conditions would play to their strengths.
Reflecting on past experiences, he mentioned, "Sohail was also part of the T20 World Cup 2007 squad. We did not have a good start in the beginning of the World Cup."
Afridi also highlighted the changes in team management, noting, "Previously, there was no 14-member team management."
He stressed the importance of the captain's role in maintaining team unity and underscored the need for senior players to take on more responsibility.
