Former President Dr Arif Alvi revealed on Wednesday that Imran Khan was offered a way out of the country, but he refused, vowing to stay and face the consequences.
Alvi addressing an event in Faisalabad, said Imran Khan's determination to stay put is a testament to his courage.
Alvi lamented the lack of accountability in Pakistan, stating that it has never been a priority since Ayub Khan's era.
He expressed his disappointment, saying he had lost hope in the process.
Regarding the cipher case, Alvi praised the Islamabad High Court's decision, calling it a justified verdict since the case was baseless.
