In the midst of their challenging stint at the T20 World Cup 2024, the Oman cricket team found themselves in the limelight for an unexpected reason as a viral Pakistani singer Chahat Fateh Ali Khan's "Bado Badi" dance video surfaced online.
Despite facing their second consecutive defeat in the tournament, this time at the hands of Australia, the Oman players managed to captivate the internet with their infectious energy and groovy moves.

The video, shot before their encounter with the Australian team, captured the players joyously dancing to the beats of the popular track 'Bado Badi', earning admiration from fans worldwide.
The jovial display by the Oman squad provided a refreshing moment amid their sporting struggles, as they currently find themselves at the bottom of the points table in Group B following their defeat against the formidable Australian side.
In the match against Australia, Oman initially appeared to have made a strategic decision by inviting the opposition to bat after winning the toss. However, despite a promising start where Australia faltered losing early wickets, stellar performances by Marcus Stoinis and David Warner steered the Australian innings to a formidable total of 164 runs.
In response, Oman faced an uphill battle from the outset, losing crucial wickets early on. Despite valiant efforts from Ayan Khan and Mehran Khan, the team could only muster a total of 125 runs, falling short of the target by 39 runs.
While the on-field performance may not have been in Oman's favor, their off-field antics have certainly won hearts, with the International Cricket Council (ICC) also sharing the viral video across its social media platforms.
