Rana Sanaullah, Advisor to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Political Affairs and a prominent leader of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), accused the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of being a puppet of the establishment.
Speaking on Samaa TV's program ‘Mere Sawaal’, he criticized the PTI founder's approach to negotiations, alleging that he only seeks dialogue with the establishment and ignores calls for reconciliation with politicians.
The advisor emphasized that the PTI founder’s political influence should be curtailed to address the ongoing political turmoil in the country. Furthermore, he claimed that despite calls for talks from various quarters, including the judiciary and politicians, the PTI founder remains adamant on engaging solely with the establishment.
Rana Sanaullah further claimed that Imran Khan has adopted an uncompromising stance, saying, “The founder of PTI is saying that he will not leave anyone.” This, he suggested, is obstructing any possibility of reconciliation.
The PML-N leader also addressed recent incidents involving key PTI figures. He mentioned that there have been no discussions of reconciliation through Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
He alleged that Ali Amin Gandapur sought a meeting with Mohsin Naqvi to avoid legal action following the attack on PESCO Center.
The PML-N leader warned that Khan’s stubborn stance will lead to further chaos and instability in the country. He emphasized that his party is committed to finding a peaceful solution but will not be intimidated by Khan’s threats.
