Nine individuals, including three sons of former Azad Jammu and Kashmir prime minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, were arrested by Islamabad police on charges of threatening a citizen.
The arrests were made following a complaint lodged at the Margalla police station.
A spokesperson for the Islamabad police confirmed that the suspects have been charged with threatening a citizen with serious consequences. The incident reportedly involved the suspects obstructing the path of the complainant, torturing him, and hurling threats at him.
During the operation, police seized five vehicles from the suspects. These vehicles were notably equipped with police lights. Additionally, four drivers were among the nine people apprehended.
