Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ali Muhammad Khan addressed several significant issues, including an attack on their lawyer leader and political matters concerning other parties.
Speaking in Samaa TV program “Mere Sawaal”, he highlighted the recent attack on PTI’s lawyer leader, Ali Zaman, in Peshawar. He stated that the provincial government has filed a case against the attackers, and they are expecting swift arrests.
Ali Muhammad Khan emphasized party’s commitment by taking ownership of today’s tweet. He also mentioned PTI founder’s invitation to read the Hamudur Rahman commission report, stressing the importance of learning from past mistakes.
Regarding political matters, he cautioned against repeating historical errors. He criticized former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Nawaz Sharif and the Pakistan Peoples’ Party, stating that they have also echoed similar sentiments about avoiding past mistakes.
The PTI leader questioned Nawaz Sharif’s commitment to democracy, citing instances like nominating his brother on Form 45 for Prime Ministersip. He suggested that if Nawaz Sharif had prioritized respecting the vote, he could have been the Prime Minister.
Furthermore, Ali Muhammad Khan highlighted historical instances, such as the formation of IJI to undermine Benazir Bhutto's mandate, to underscore the importance of upholding democratic values.
