The Pakistan Railways has announced the addition of a fourth special train to accommodate the increased number of passengers traveling during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha holiday.
This new service is aimed at providing greater convenience and ensuring a smoother travel experience for those journeying to be with family and friends.
The department says the addition of a fourth special train for Eid is meant for the convenience of passengers.
Booking for all the special passenger trains from Karachi has been completed, with all seats already reserved well ahead of the holidays. To meet this high demand, the railways will introduce a fourth Eid special train, which will run from Karachi to Lahore.
This train is scheduled to depart from Karachi on the afternoon of June 15.

Overall, the Pakistan Railways will operate four special trains for Eid-ul-Azha. The first of these Eid special trains is set to depart from Karachi on June 14, marking the beginning of the enhanced holiday service. The second special train is slated to leave Karachi on June 15 at 9pm.
The third Eid special train will depart from Karachi to Lahore on June 15 in the afternoon. The fourth special train will depart from Karachi to Lahore on the night of June 15.
On May 31, Pakistan Railways (PR) had announced to run three special trains on Eid-ul-Azha. The first train was set to depart from Karachi on June 14 at 6pm for Peshawar. The first special train will travel through Multan, Faisalabad, and Lalamusa.
The second special train was set to leave Quetta for Rawalpindi at 10am. The route of the train will be Multan, Sahiwal and Lahore. The third Eid train will leave for Lahore on June 15 at 9am.
