Security forces on Monday neutralised nine terrorists in two separate operations conducted in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations, in an intelligence-based operation in Tira, Khyber District, security forces eliminated seven terrorists, including high-value targets Terrorist Commander Najeeb Abdul Rehman and Terrorist Commander Ishfaq Muavia.
These terrorists were actively involved in various terrorist activities and were wanted by law enforcement agencies. The operation also led to the recovery of weapons, ammunition, and explosives from the terrorists.
In another operation in Lakki Marwat District, troops successfully engaged a terrorist location, resulting in the elimination of two terrorists.
Sanitization operations are ongoing in the area to ensure the elimination of any remaining terrorists.
The Security Forces of Pakistan remain committed to eradicating the threat of terrorism from the country.
