The Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore has dismissed the interim bail requests of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder Imran Khan in three cases.
On Tuesday, Judge Khalid Arshad announced the reserved judgment, which was initially deliberated on July 6, following the arguments presented by the lawyers.
The cases in question include the Jinnah House attack involving the PTI founder.
Prior to announcing the decision, Judge Khalid Arshad inquired about the presence of Imran Khan’s lawyers. It was reported that Salman Safdar was in Islamabad, and his junior lawyer, Abdullah, was initially present but later absent from the courtroom.
The judge instructed the prosecution to contact the counsel representing the PTI founder. He remarked that a short verdict would be announced immediately, with a detailed verdict to be issued the following morning (Wednesday).
